Dispatch board, map and calendar
Plan jobs by dragging them onto technicians and times, see the day on the map, and the month on the calendar.
The dispatch board
Go to Dispatch board. Technicians are down the side and the hours of the day across.
- To plan on the left lists new jobs, jobs without a time and jobs on hold - urgent and late ones first.
- Drag a job onto a technician and a time to schedule it. Times snap to 15 minutes.
- Drag a job on the board to move it to another time or technician.
- Stretch the right edge of a job to change its length.
- Drag a job back onto To plan to take it off the board.
- Click a job to open it.
Shaded hours are outside the person's working hours; a striped orange row means leave. Jobs that overlap are outlined in red, and jobs under way are outlined in green.
Use Week to plan further ahead: drag jobs between days. Add Leave for days off - nobody on leave is suggested for jobs or online bookings.
On Professional, route on a technician puts their planned jobs of the day back to back in the shortest driving order.
The map
Map shows the day's jobs as pins, numbered in time order and coloured by technician, and where each technician last was. Job addresses are found on the map by themselves; drag a job's pin on the job page to correct it.
The calendar
Calendar shows a month of jobs. Technicians see their own. Click + on a day to add a job on it.
