Get started with Field Service

Start Field Service, set up job types and hours, invite your technicians and plan the first job.

Ellibo Field Service is for work done at your customers' places: repairs, installations, maintenance visits and inspections. It runs on the same customers, items, stock and books as your other Ellibo apps.

Start Field Service

Open Field Service from All Apps and choose your business, or create one. The business owner starts it and becomes its Admin. Every new business gets a 14-day trial with every feature.

Set it up

The Set up Field Service guide on Home takes you through:

1. Job types - repair, installation, maintenance visit, inspection - each with its usual length, price and checklist. See Settings.
2. Working hours and labour rate - the board shades the hours outside the working day, and invoices charge labour at your rate an hour.
3. Technicians - invite the people who go on jobs. See Users and roles.
4. Your first job - see Create and schedule jobs.
5. Online booking - let customers book a free time on your page. See Online booking and the customer portal.

The technician app

Technicians open Field Service on their phone and choose Add to Home screen. My day opens straight away and works without signal. See The technician app.

Plans

Field Service is priced per technician. Office users - admins, dispatchers and viewers - are free. The Free plan has 2 technicians and 60 jobs a month.
