Set up your business
Enter your business name, address and country once. Ellibo uses them on your bills and invoices, and your country sets your currency, tax setup and time zone.
The first time you open an app, Ellibo asks for your business profile. The details are shared, so every app prints the same name and address.
Fill in the business profile
- Enter the Organization Name. This is your business or trading name as it should appear on bills and invoices.
- Enter the Address, then choose your Country and State. The state list appears after you pick the country.
- Enter the City and Postal Code.
- Check the Business Timezone. It's suggested from your country. Change it if your business is in a different time zone.
POS only: choose a Business Type:
- Restaurant for food service. You get tables, KOTs, waiters and the kitchen display.
- Retail Shop for selling products. You get barcode billing, invoices, sales returns and stock.
- Click Save & Continue.
What your country sets
Your country decides a few things for you, so your bills follow local rules from day one:
- Currency: Indian Rupee (₹), with Indian number grouping (1,25,000).
- Taxes: GST. You can add your GSTIN, CGST, SGST and IGST rates, and HSN or SAC codes on items.
- Time zone: India Standard Time.
Choose the country where your business is registered. Your books' tax setup follows it and can't be switched later without starting new books.
Change your business details later
- Name, address, logo and time zone: go to My Account › Your Organizations, or in POS to Settings › Organization Profile.
- The logo on receipts and bills: upload it in the app's settings, for example POS › Settings › Billing Settings.
More than one business?
You can run several businesses from one account, for example two shops or a restaurant and a store. Each business has its own data, plan and team. Add a new business when you first open an app, or from the app's business menu (in POS: My Organization).
