Users and roles

Who can use Field Service, their roles, and each technician's hours, van, skills and rates.

Go to Settings > Users, technicians & hours.

Roles

• Admin - everything, including users, settings and the plan.
• Dispatcher - takes requests, plans and assigns every job, keeps customers, equipment and contracts, makes estimates and invoices.
• Technician - sees the jobs given to them and does them.
• Viewer - sees every job, the board and reports, changes nothing.

On Business, add custom roles with the rights you choose.

Who goes on jobs

Technicians always go on jobs. Switch on Goes on jobs for admins and dispatchers who go out too. Only people who go on jobs count for the plan - office users are free.

A technician's details

Click a technician's hours to set their colour on the board, phone, working days and hours, van (Inventory warehouse), cost an hour (for job profit), charged an hour, skills, service areas and the home address their day starts from.

Invite

Enter the email and role and Invite. The link works for 7 days.
