HR with your other apps

What HR shares with Accounting, Expense, Field Service, Projects, Helpdesk, CRM and POS.

HR works alone, and no other app has to be started. If you use other Ellibo apps, they share your sign-in and your business. Each sign-in has its own role in each app, so a role in another app gives no access to HR.

Accounting

When you approve a pay run, a journal goes in your books. When you record a payment, a Payment Out goes in too. Loans post as well. You can turn off posting in Settings. See Run payroll.

If your books are locked for a date, HR can't post to that date.

Expense

Each employee has one ledger, shared with Ellibo Expense, so what the business owes a person shows in one place. Employees with a sign-in use the same ledger in both apps.

Approved expense claims can be brought into a pay run, for people with a sign-in and an employee record. They come in as a pay line that isn't taxed. The claim is already an expense in your books, so the pay run just clears what is owed.

A claim in a pay run can't be paid twice. If Expense pays it while the run is still a draft, the app stops you approving until you remove it. When the salary payment is recorded, the claim shows as reimbursed in Expense, and it opens again if you undo that payment.

CRM

CRM commission for a month can be brought into a pay run as a Commission pay line, for people with a sign-in and an employee record. Each person's month comes in once.

POS

POS settles tips itself, so HR doesn't take them from POS. Taking them automatically could pay someone twice. If you pay tips through salary, add them by hand on the Tips pay line. See Salaries and pay lines.

Field Service

When leave is approved for someone with a sign-in on Field Service, no job gets planned for them on those days. If the leave is cancelled, they are free again.

Projects and Helpdesk

Holidays for the whole business can be sent to the Projects and Helpdesk calendars. If a day already has a holiday there, that one stays.

Manufacturing and Sign

These run on the same business, and there is no data link with HR today. HR has its own simple signature for offers, so you don't need Sign for that.

Without those apps

Nothing breaks. HR skips any link to an app you don't use.
