Goals and reviews
Set goals, run review rounds, give feedback, and track skills.
Goals and reviews are on the Business plan, and in the free trial.
Goals
Go to Goals. A goal can be for the business, a department or a person, and can sit under a bigger goal. You can use plain goals, objectives with key results, or key result areas.
For each goal, set:
- how progress is measured: a percent, a number or simply done
- a start and target
- a weight and a due date, if you want them
Update progress as you go, and mark it on track, at risk or behind.
Review rounds
Go to Reviews and start a round. Give it a name, the dates it covers and due dates, and choose what it includes:
- a self review
- views from peers or from people who report to them
- goals and skills
- your own questions
- a rating scale
Each person's review moves along: self, manager, HR, shared with them, signed by them.
Pay after a review
A manager or HR can propose a rise on a review. Pay stays with the Payroll role: a rise takes effect only when Payroll sets the new salary.
Feedback
Anyone can give a colleague kudos or a note, and you can ask peers for feedback.
Skills
Keep each person's skills, with a level from 1 to 5. Passing a course can add a skill.
