Warehouses and transfer orders

Keep stock in more than one warehouse or shop, see what's where, and move it with transfer orders.

Multiple warehouses are part of the Standard plan and above. The Free plan has one warehouse.

Add warehouses

1. Turn on Multiple warehouses under Settings › Business settings › Preferences.
2. Go to the Warehouses tab and click + New warehouse. Enter its name and address.

Every item now shows its stock in each warehouse. Orders, receives and adjustments ask which warehouse.

Move stock between warehouses

1. Go to Transfer Orders and click + New Transfer Order.
2. Choose the Date, the From warehouse and the To warehouse.
3. Add the items and quantities, and Notes if you like.
4. Click Transfer now to move the stock straight away, or Save as draft to finish later.

Staff transfers worth more than an amount you set can wait as drafts for a manager. Set it under Settings › Business settings › Preferences › Approval for staff transfers above.

Reports

Inventory Summary and Stock Valuation can be run for one warehouse or all of them. Transfers & Adjustments lists every transfer for a period.
