Online sign-up and pricing page
A pricing page and checkout to share or put on your website. Customers pick a plan, subscribe and pay by themselves.
Online sign-up is in the Standard plan and above.
Set it up
- Go to Settings › Online sign-up & portal.
- Tick Turn on the sign-up page.
- Under Plans on the page, tick the plans to offer.
- Add a page title, words above the plans, a thank-you message and the web address of your terms, if you like.
- Click Save. The page's link appears at the top.
On each plan's page, under Online sign-up page, write what the plan includes, one line each, for example 5 users or Email support. These show as ticked lines on the pricing page.
Share it or put it on your website
- Link: click Copy and share it by email, WhatsApp or on social media. Add
&plan=CODEto the link to open one plan's checkout straight away. - On your website: copy the code under Put it on your website and paste it into your web page. The pricing table shows there, without your page header.
What the customer does
- Picks a plan on the pricing page.
- Enters their name or company, email, mobile, and tax number (optional), and a quantity and coupon where you allow them.
- Clicks Subscribe, or Start free trial on a plan with a trial.
- On the thank-you page, clicks Pay now to pay the first invoice online, and Set up automatic payments if you ask for them.
What happens in Ellibo
- A customer is added to your shared customer list. If a customer already has that email, the subscription goes on them and their details are left as they are.
- The subscription starts at once, or its trial starts. The first invoice is made, and emailed if you email invoices.
- The history says Signed up online, admins get an email (untick Email admins about each sign-up to stop it), and the sign-up is listed under Latest online sign-ups.
Online payment and automatic payments need your gateway connected on the Integrations page. Without it, customers pay the invoice the usual way.
Stopping spam
A hidden field and a short wait stop most robots. One address can sign up 5 times an hour, and the page takes 40 sign-ups an hour at most. Untick Turn on the sign-up page to close it; the link then says sign-up is turned off.
