Plans, products and add-ons
A plan is what customers subscribe to, with its price and how often it bills. Products group plans. Add-ons are extras on top.
Make a plan
- Go to Catalogue > Plans and click + New Plan.
- Enter the Plan name, for example Gold - Monthly. The Code is made from the name, and you can change it.
- Optional: choose the Product it belongs to, and add a Description.
- Under Price, choose how it is priced (see below) and enter the price. Tick Prices include tax if they do.
Under Billing, choose how often it bills: for example 1 Months, 3 Months or 1 Years. Optional:
- Bill how many times: for a fixed number of periods. Leave it blank for until cancelled.
- Free trial (days): the first invoice comes after the trial.
- Setup fee: charged once, on the first invoice.
- Under Bills as, choose A new item or An existing item, and check the tax rate.
- Click Save plan.
The Free plan includes 3 plans. Paid plans have no limit.
Changing a plan later doesn't change subscriptions already on it. They keep their own price and pricing. To change one, open it and use Change plan.
How a plan can be priced

For Volume and Tiered, enter the price bands: each band's Up to and Price per unit. The last band has no end. Click Add a band for more.
Volume, tiered and package pricing are in the Standard plan and above.
Products
A product groups its plans, for example Gold with a monthly and a yearly plan, or Cloud backup with Basic, Pro and Team plans.
- Go to Catalogue > Products and click + New Product.
- Enter its name and save.
- Choose the product on each of its plans, or click + Plan on the product.
Filter the Plans list by product to see a product's plans.
Add-ons
Add-ons are extras a customer can add to a plan, such as an extra user or an extra delivery.
- Go to Catalogue > Add-ons and click + New Add-on.
- Enter its name and code. Under Charged, choose On every invoice or Once.
- Optional: under Offered with, choose a product to offer it with that product's plans only.
- Choose how it is priced and enter the price, as for a plan.
- Save.
Add add-ons when you create a subscription, or later with Change plan.
Turn a plan off
Click Turn off on a plan you no longer sell. Existing subscriptions on it carry on, but you can't start new ones.
