Bills and landed costs

Record your vendors' bills, pay them, and add freight, duty and other charges to the cost of the goods they belong to.

Bills

Create a bill from a purchase order with Create Bill, or go to Purchases › Bills and create one directly. Bills are the same documents as in Ellibo Accounting, so what you owe the vendor and your books update straight away.

To pay a vendor, go to Purchases › Payments Made, or click Record Payment on a bill. See Purchase bills and payments.

Landed costs

Professional plan and above. The real cost of goods includes freight, customs duty, insurance and handling. Landed costs add these charges to the items they belong to, so your stock value and profit are right.

1. Open the purchase receive or the bill and click Add landed cost. You can also go to Purchases › Landed Costs.
2. Check For the goods of, the Date and the Number.
3. Under Charges, add each charge and its amount, for example Freight or Customs duty.
4. Choose how to Spread over the goods: By value, By quantity, or Enter each share yourself.
5. Add Notes and click Save landed cost.

The item costs update, and the goods' value in your reports includes the charges.
