Import parties and items from Excel

Bring in your customer, supplier and item lists at once with the Excel template.

Import

1. Go to Parties or Items and click Import.
2. Download the template, fill in one row per party or item, and keep the column headings as they are.
3. Choose your file. Ellibo checks every row and shows what it will add and any problems.
4. Fix the rows it flags, or leave them out, then click Import.

Good to know

• Import only adds new records. A party or item that already exists is skipped, and your existing records are never changed.
• Start with a few rows to check your file, then import the rest.

Export

The Excel button on each list downloads what you see, for example to share with your accountant.
