Happy hour

Lower prices at set times, for example drinks 20% off from 4 to 7 PM on weekdays, on the POS, QR table orders and your online store.

Switch it on

Go to Settings › Billing Settings › Features, tick Happy Hour Prices and click Save. Happy Hour then shows under Menu.

Managers and Admins can set up happy hours.

Add a happy hour

Go to Menu › Happy Hour and click + New.
Give it a name, for example Weekday happy hour.
Choose the days and the time it runs, From and To. A time that ends earlier than it starts, such as 10 PM to 1 AM, runs past midnight into the next day.
If it's only for a while, set Only from and Until dates.
Choose For these orders: dine-in, pickup, delivery, or all of them.
Set the % off, and what it's for: All products, Chosen categories or Chosen products. Tick Round to a whole number if you don't want cents.
Optional: type an own price next to any product, for example a burger at 99 during happy hour. An own price is used whatever the % off.
Click Save happy hour.

The Happy hour column shows each product's price while it's on, so you can check it before you save.

Tip

Times follow your business's time zone, set in your organization profile.

On the POS

While a happy hour is on, the POS shows a bar above the products, for example Weekday happy hour: happy hour prices until 7:00 PM. Items you add get the happy-hour price by themselves.

Items already on a bill keep their price, so an open table isn't re-priced when the happy hour starts or ends.
When two happy hours are on at once, the lower price is used.
Happy hour comes on top of area and order-type prices: it takes its % off the price for that table's area, or for pickup or delivery.

QR table orders and the online store

Guests ordering from a table QR code or your online store see the same prices while the happy hour is on, with a note at the top of the menu. The order is charged at the price the guest saw.

Switch one off

On Menu › Happy Hour, click Switch off next to a happy hour to stop it without deleting it, or Delete to remove it. Untick Happy Hour Prices in Billing Settings to stop them all.
