Quotes and salespeople

Send a customer a quote to accept online. When they accept, the subscription starts by itself. Track who sold what.

Quotes are in the Standard plan and above.

Make a quote

  1. Go to Sales › Quotes and click New Quote, or click Send a subscription quote on an open deal in Ellibo CRM.
  2. Choose the customer, the plan, the quantity and any add-ons. Leave the price blank for the plan's price (or the customer's price list).
  3. Add a coupon, a start date (blank means the day it's accepted), a free trial and a Valid until day (30 days unless you change it).
  4. Choose the salesperson, fill in any custom fields, and write a message for the customer.
  5. Click Save as draft. The summary shows the first invoice and what each period costs.

Send it

On the quote, click Send to customer to email the link, or Copy link to share it another way. The customer opens a page with the plan, the first invoice, the price after that and your message. They don't need an account.

The customer accepts or declines

  • Accept: they type their name, tick that they accept and click Accept and start. The subscription starts at once, or on the quote's start date or after its trial. It has the quote's coupon, salesperson, custom fields and CRM deal, and its first invoice is made and emailed. The page then offers Pay the first invoice.
  • Decline: they can say why. You see the reason on the quote.

If Email the team about each sign-up and each quote accepted or declined online is ticked (Settings › Online sign-up & portal), the salesperson gets an email about it, or the admins when there's none.

The customer said yes by phone? Click Mark accepted - start the subscription. You can also mark a quote declined. A quote past its Valid until day shows as Expired; edit it to give a new day.

Salespeople

Each subscription and quote can have a salesperson: someone on your team who can sell. Set it on the forms, under Edit billing details on a subscription, or for many at once from the subscriptions list. Filter the subscriptions and quotes lists by salesperson. The Sales by salesperson report shows each one's active subscriptions and MRR, what they started and lost in a period, and their quotes.
