Know what you can make. Know what it really cost.
Bills of materials, orders and a shop floor screen, with stock and real cost flowing straight into your books - so a small factory runs on facts, not on notebooks.
- Free for 2 office users · 14-day trial of everything, no card
- Operators and viewers are always free
- Phone, tablet and desktop
From a notebook to a factory that runs on facts
Start with one product and one order. Add the rest when you need it.
What goes in, and what it really cost
List the components and steps of each product. You see the cost before you make it, then planned against real on every finished order: material, labour and overhead.
- Sub-assemblies, variants, by-products and allowance for waste
- Finished goods enter stock at material + labour + overhead
- Month-end work-in-progress entries for labour and overhead
Reserve, make, and watch stock change by itself
An order reserves what it needs and tells you straight away what is short. When you finish it, components leave stock and the product comes in. Nobody has to enter anything twice.
- Waiting for components, partly available or ready, at a glance
- Make part of it and put the rest on a new order
- Short of something? See what to make and buy, and order it in one click
A tablet on the line. Operators free.
One big, simple screen. Each person chooses their name and PIN, sees the work at their machine with its instructions, and presses Start, Pause or Done. Time and cost record themselves.
- Operators and viewers cost nothing, and operators need no sign-in of their own
- Scan or type an order, item or serial number to find it
- Record quantity, scrap, why work stopped, and quality checks right there
See the whole week, and the months ahead
Work lands on a timeline by work centre, inside your working hours and around time off. Drag a job with a mouse or a finger, and the work waiting for it follows. For the longer view, type your forecast and see what to make and buy, level by level.
- Backup work centres take over when the first choice is busy or down
- Late work and clashes show in colour
- Reorder rules and make-to-order that act by themselves
Know what is with each job worker
Materials you send stay your own stock, at a warehouse named for the job worker, moved by transfer orders. Print a challan for each trip, receive goods back at material + job charge, and bill the charge in your books.
- Sent, used, returned and still with them, on every order
- A vendor can deliver straight to the job worker
- In India: delivery challans, and an ITC-04 report that warns about inputs not back within a year (check the figures with your accountant)
Checks that appear by themselves
Say what to check, on what, and how often. The check appears on the order or when goods come in. Operators pass it, type a measure or take a picture, and a failure can raise an alert with its cause and fix.
- Pass or fail, measures with limits, photos and instructions
- An order can wait until its checks are done
- Control charts show whether a process stays in control, with average, spread and Cpk
Machines kept running. Changes kept under control.
Breakdown and planned requests on one board and calendar, with days between failures for each machine. Changing a product? Work on a copy of the BoM, get it approved, see the differences, and apply it when it is ready.
- Planned maintenance comes up by itself; planning goes around the work centre
- Operators raise a request from the shop floor when something breaks
- Versions of each BoM; running orders keep the one they started with
One shared core, so nothing is typed twice
Manufacturing isn't a separate system joined on later. It runs on the same items, stock, customers and books as your other Ellibo apps.
- Inventory stock. Items, warehouses, batches and serial numbers are the same records. What you make shows in Inventory at once.
- Accounting books. Purchase orders, bills, job work charges and repair invoices are in your books, with tax, and finished goods carry their real cost into your stock value.
- Sales orders. Open sales orders appear with what covers them. Make what is short in a click, or have make-to-order items start by themselves.
Being plain about the limits: the shop floor doesn't work offline, and measures are typed in by hand rather than read from devices.

Questions
What is Ellibo Manufacturing?
Software for small and growing factories. You list what goes into each product, make orders from that list, and your stock and real cost follow by themselves. As you grow, it adds a shop floor screen, planning, job work, quality checks and maintenance.
Do my operators need paid accounts?
No. Operators and viewers are free on every plan. Operators do not even need a sign-in of their own: one signed-in tablet can serve a whole line, each person choosing their name and PIN. You pay only for office users: admins, planners, and quality and maintenance people.
Does it work with my stock and my books?
Yes. It runs on the same items, warehouses, customers, vendors and books as Ellibo Inventory and Accounting. Finished goods enter stock at material + labour + overhead, so your stock value and profit carry the real cost with nothing to copy across.
Can I use it without the other apps?
Yes. Starting Manufacturing sets up what it needs for your business, and no other app has to be started. Add other apps when you want them.
Does the shop floor work without internet?
No. Stock and cost have to reach the server, so the shop floor needs a live connection. If your floor has weak signal, plan for good Wi-Fi at the tablets.
Does it connect to machines or measuring devices?
No. Operators type measurements in by hand, and machine time comes from operators pressing Start and Done. A barcode scanner that types like a keyboard works in the shop floor search box.
Is POS stock connected?
Yes, when you turn on shared stock in Ellibo POS. Linked items then follow what you make here, usually within about five minutes. Items with batches or serial numbers, kits and restaurant recipes stay out of it. Without shared stock, what you make shows in Inventory and Accounting only.
How does job work and subcontracting work?
Materials you send stay your own stock, at a warehouse named for the job worker, moved by transfer orders. You print a delivery challan for each trip, receive finished goods at material + job charge, and bill the job charge in your books. In India, the ITC-04 report lists what went out and came back, and warns about inputs not back within a year. Please check its figures with your accountant.
Can I import my BoMs?
Yes. Items, work centres and bills of materials come in from a spreadsheet saved as CSV.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every screen is built for phone, tablet and desktop, and you can add it to the home screen. There is no separate app to install from a store.
Is there a free plan?
Yes: 2 office users and 30 orders a month, free for ever, with bills of materials, kits, manufacturing orders and buying for production. Every new business also gets a 14-day trial of everything, no card needed.
